I do not think that Michael Phelps should lose his gold medal status. Humans make mistakes and this one is something that people get by with all the time. The only reason he is getting in trouble and has so much publicity is because he is an Olympic star. He has made a mistake and has apologized for it. The people of America should forgive him.
