A man who would have loved to have seen an African American president is George Washington Carver. (The peanut man) He is the man that figured out so many ways to fix peanuts into so many different kinds of foods and snacks. I think he would have liked to have been alive to see this day because he was a very influential African American. Nowadays he gets a lot of credit for his ideas and inventions, but when he was alive, he didn't get near enough credit because he was African American. For him to know that the leader of this country is African American would please him.
